Connecting Meta (Facebook and Instagram) accounts

Meta (Facebook and Instagram) accounts can only be connected to one organization at a time, if you connect a Meta account that is connected to another organization it will be disconnected from the other organization.

Only Instagram Business accounts are supported. Learn more about Instagram Business. If you don't have an Instagram Business account then consider connecting an email address as a temporary workaround.
When adding a Facebook page or Instagram account that is connected to a business, it is important to also give permission to the business itself otherwise the connected accounts will not show.

To connect a Meta account follow these steps:

  1. Log into your organization
  2. Select Accounts from the side navigation menu
  3. Under Add account select Meta
  4. Select Connect Meta account
  5. You will be redirected to Meta to authorize Tranxact
  6. Authorize Tranxact and all accounts that you want to use with Tranxact
  7. From the Add Meta accounts page select the accounts that you want to connect to the current organization
  8. Select Add accounts at the bottom of the page
Permissions you give to Tranxact apply across all of Tranxact, so do not revoke permissions for an account that is being used in any of your organizations.
